Crichton Table
We are called to develop reciprocal relationship in the community, understanding our mutual brokenness, checking our pride (coming from a place of affluence) as we desire to foster dignity with our materially poor neighbors and point each other to the hope of Christ!
Every Tuesday, Crichton Table opens at 9:30 a.m. where we offer coffee, tea, and water giving guests an opportunity for fellowship and a short devotional. At 11:00 we serve lunch where Lanier presents a Bible message.
During this time, as people come in, they are greeted and asked to sign in, note their birthday and prayer request they may have and someone will pray with them right then if they desire. Then they are asked to find a place, where they are served a meal.
Our purpose and much of our dignity is derived from our work. We hope to discover more ways for our guests to participate, making the cafe a joint venture, a place we all share with and care for one another.

Pray:
Pray for us as we study the Bible on Thursday mornings with some of our community neighbors by showing and listening to the Gospel of John in a word for word dramatization of the texts of Scripture.
